My pops is scratching his head over his 2021 Tahoe 1950 deck boat

He's got these two mesh-grated ports on the transom. One is about two inches to the right of his main bilge drain, and the other is roughly three inches higher and ten inches to the left.

He's pretty sure both of these are for his live well, and he's having trouble with it.

I checked it out, the water is draining out of the mesh grated hole that's two inches to the right of the main bilge drain, so I think there's a breach somewhere.

He's trying to figure out if both of these are intake lines, and if they are, they definitely shouldn't be letting water out of the boat, right?
If anyone knows where he can find a diagram for the live well loop on this boat, we'd really, really appreciate it. He's stuck, and I also don't know what to do!

Ok honestly, it already looks like you're on the right track about a leak if water is draining out of the mesh hole. As far as I know, those ports usually should be intake or circulation lines for the live well, not drainage. If you can't find a manual or diagram online (I can't also give you as I currently don't know where to look for it if not the internet), try reaching out to Tahoe customer support for it.

I had a similar headache when I was with a friend in his 2019 Tahoe, water was leaking from a mesh port that really shouldn't have been draining. We found out it was a cracked livewell line behind the transom panel. Normally, those mesh ports on Tahoes are either intakes or overflows, not meant to drain the hull at all. I'd definitely recommend checking the livewell fill and recirc lines for any leaks. Did your dad happen to notice if the livewell is maintaining water like it should, or is it draining pretty quickly?
