Seat replacement on `08 Q4

Been working on bringing my 2008 Q4 back to life, and the biggest thing that's been bugging me lately is the condition of the seats. The sun has really done a number on them, cracked, faded, and honestly just uncomfortable now. I've looked into full replacement kits, but the price tags are all over the place, and I'm not sure if it's better to go OEM, get something custom, or just try to reupholster the current ones. Has anyone here tackled seat replacement on Q4 or similar model? in terms of quality and budget, i need insight there

The seats on my '08 Q4 got wrecked by sun too, they got cracked and faded, what I know is that replacement kits vary a lot in price. I'd say custom or reupholster if you want budget-friendly, but OEM's best for fit and durability, so it depends on what matters most to you

Yeah, I've been down that road with my old Tahoe. Reupholstering the seats gave me way is better than OEM or aftermarket swaps though. If you've got a trusted local shop, custom work can look neat and last longer too.
