Gas leak on my 2008 Tahoe Q6

I got a gas leak on my 2008 Tahoe Q6 4.3, I filled the tank then smelled gas real bad after a four-mile drive, so far the hoses and seals check out so it's gotta be the tank bit the access is tiny, eight by thirty inches, and the tank is fiberglassed in, doea anyone know how to swap it without cutting the boat?

The gas tank is really hard to get to on that one since its glassed in and the access hole is too small. I think you have to cut part of the floor to take it out, there's really not another way around it. A reputable local shop can do it neatly and fix it up after.

Swapping that fiberglassed tank without cutting is tough, maybe try accessing it through the access panel or removing nearby panels?

Man, a gas leak on a boat is definitely not a minor thing, so good on you for jumping on it right away.
Sounds like you've already checked the easy stuff like hoses, that's smart
But honestly, with that tiny access hatch and the tank basically glued in with fiberglass, probably you wouldn't like it, but you're most likely gonna have to cut into the boat to swap it out
No real way around it, unfortunately.

That sounds like a headache. It might be worth hitting up a local shop that knows these hulls since they sometimes know shortcuts the manuals don't show.
