installing a Powerdrive on a 2017 Tahoe 215 Xi

I'm hoping to get some advice on a project for my dad's boat. He's got a 2017 Tahoe 215 Xi that's pre wired for a trolling motor, and we're trying to install a Minn Kota Powerdrive on it.

The problem we've run into is a raised lip on the bow that's keeping us from mounting the motor flush.
The standard quick release plate won't clear it, and the dealer where we bought it had no clue what to do.

We're trying to find a mounting solution that works. Are there any prefab mounting plates out there (like fiberglass or something similar)that are designed to raise the quick release puck up and over a lip like that?
Any suggestions would be a huge help. Thanks!

You might want to double check compatibility on this, but I think an adjustable mounting plate from Nate's custom boats is the thing you're looking for. There are multiple sizes and you can trim if it none of those work. If that's not it, then you may want to consider custom fabrication.

A good option is the ShuttleSlide mount, it lets you move or turn the trolling motor so it can fit over raised edges like the one on your boat. It works with Minn Kota motors and you don't need to build anything custom.
